Bigboy Sibanda illtreated by Home Office, Again

https://zhro.zimvigil.org/2020/08/Bigboy-Sibanda-ill-treated-by-Home-Office-Again.html
ZHRO and Bigboy Sibanda, second from right
Zimbabwe Human Rights Organisation (ZHRO) member Bigboy Sibanda, who is a human rights activist and political agitator, is currently caught up in a potential Human Rights quagmire with the United Kingdom Home Office.

In 2019 Bigboy Sibanda with the help of ZHRO published an article in which he detailed interviews and interrogation by the Zimbabwean authorities in a UK detention centre in Gatwick called Brook House. The article was published on the ZHRO website and Facebook on Friday the 24th of March 2019 and can be found on the following link

https://blog.zhro.org.uk/2019/05/uk-allows-interviews-by-their.html

This article was one of the first whistle blowing attempts by a Zimbabwean in the UK detailing the extent to which the British Government at the time was involved in illicit dealings with the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) (Zimbabwe government) in the United Kingdom, in an effort to meet the targets of the U.K. Home Offices Deportations targets.

Such cases ended up in the U.K. courts and was seen by the UK courts as a likely breach of human rights as the Zimbabwe Government and Zimbabwean authorities are well known for using State Abduction,Torture and Killings through summary execution to silence dissenting voices.

At present Bigboy Sibanda is not allowed to work, volunteer nor study by the United Kingdom Home Office.  He is also not getting any income from the same United Kingdom of Great Britain and NorthernIreland Home Office although He is an Asylum seeker.

ZHRO is currently helping Bigboy Sibanda by topping up his mobile phone so that he’s human rights of having Internet can be maintained. This also allows Bigboy Sibanda to communicate with other people.  As we all know the right to communicate and express oneself is a fundamental right as human beings are socially inclined and are not used to isolation.

“Home bound Isolation,” also known as extreme Social Distancing, is clearly something that everyone in the whole world is not accustomed to and knows can severely affect mentalhealth.

Unfortunately, for people like Bigboy Sibanda who are Asylum Seekers, getting no help at all from the Home Office, yet are destitute, social isolation is something that he has to live with on a daily basis, because he is not able to go and visit people that he wants to visit, as he does not have travel money and he is not allowed to work.

Unfortunately the Home Office is currently not providing Bigboy Sibanda with any accommodation food or financial assistance.

Incredibly the Home Office have commanded Bigboy Sibanda to go to a reporting centre on the 24th of August 2020.  Yet the same Home Office have not even provided Bigboy Sibanda with the travel money for him to get to the reporting centre. Bigboy Sibanda has verbally advised that he will not be able to get to the reporting centre, as the journey he has to make to get to Becket House reporting centre needs two buses and the Home Office is not helping with travel money.

Every week for 9 years, Bigboy Siabanda had been reporting to the Home Office Reporting centre.  This has recently been changed to fought nightly reporting, still without any funding and without any travel money from the Home Office at all.

They are in effect making him break the law that they have set, yet they are not following their own law of providing Bigboy Sibanda with travel money, the measly £37.50 per week and accommodation.

When Bigboy Sibanda heard that Chipochedenga Parirenyatwa the ZHRO Chair Lady has been nominated for BAME award, he was extremely please for her.  He was also eager to do some studying, but he can not do this as the home office has bared him from studying anything.

To aid Bigboy Sibanda in this, ZHRO leadership have verbally intimidated that they are likely to start a back to school program for asylum seekers and refugees from Zimbabwe, alongside Organisations like OLive which is run by the University of East London, by ZHRO providing transportation costs to and from the courses when lockdown is over.

Bigboy Sibanda has advised that he wishes very much to take part in the ZHRO Walk for Freedom 2020.  The ZHRO walk for Freedom is starting on Saturday 29th of August 2020 in Brighton and is scheduled to end at Hampton Court Train Station.

Pain Of The Silenced Zimbabweans...

An animation that speaks a million words shows of the ghost of Robert Mugabe staring at Emmerson Mnangagwa who is clutching a police baton smeared with the blood of the innocent and has a speech bubble that reads, “ ...you’re doing wonders for my image Emmerson!”

Mugabe admonishing Mnangagwa

The painful image with its equally sorrowful meaning paints a very desolate future for the country of Zimbabwe as it already stares down the barrel of a pandemic that it is ill equipped to rout. It takes a feat of sheer nefarious brutality and maliciousness for one soul to outdo the diabolical acts of one of the world’s renowned dictators.

As a believer of the afterlife, I can imagine a grandiose banqueting table made from the crushed skulls and mutilated bones of virtuous humans, set in the deepest pits of hell and the souls of Mussolini, Hitler, Mugabe ,Idi Amin and all their fellow comrades in arms preparing to welcome Mnangagwa at the very top of the table after displacing the devil himself.

Each day and at every turn sets a new precedence for Mnangagwa and his posse to transcend themselves in the heinousness that knows no bounds. Burning tears trickle down the now familiar path of hollow and ashen cheeks of Zimbabwean citizens that have done nothing but speak out about their abused basic human rights. There is a clear and discernible fetish that the Zanu-PF party has for young women who demonstrate for their rights and wellbeing. The most indisputable pictures of the MDC Trio; Netsai Marova, Cecilia Chimbiri and Joanna Mamombe’s traumatised faces and ripped clothes covered in human excrement after they were found dumped on the road side after being abducted and tortured  for almost 48 hours, are a gruesome testimony of the complete lack of humanity that the Mnangagwa administration has established. The three young women were beaten, raped by guns in their rectal passage, forced to drink each other’s urine and left to deal with crippling post traumatic stress disorder.

As if their unthinkable ordeal was not enough, they are constantly being reminded of their trauma by being subjected to court cases in hospital, imprisonment and being blamed for faking their own abductions. The junta’s barbarism does not discriminate on gender as evidenced by the abductions of Davison Chamisa, Tawanda Muchehiwa only to name a few, who were abducted and brutalised by state agents using the same modus operandi as the MDC Trio and others. “Crimes” such as undermining the power of the president, demonstrating or inciting violence because one was wearing a face mask bearing the hashtag Zanu-PF must go are among those alleged for the victims that have chosen to speak out for themselves and those that cannot do so for themselves.

Investigative and award winning freelance journalist Hopewell Chin’ono and politician Jacob Ngarivhume are among the many journalists, lawyers, doctors and nurses who have been recently incarcerated in the confines of grim and sorrowful cells of prison for “inciting the public to commit violence” and calling for protests against the less than minimal wages, poor and dilapidated facilities and gross negligence of basic human rights. The unchanging allegations have become an undying tune on the lips of arresting agents on anyone who is brave enough to recognise and stand up against the government that cares only about their own wellbeing and their perpetually looting pockets. A whole country is living in constant fear with no realisation if they will see themselves past a few days in their future. A country so corrupt that it has set social media ablaze with the hashtag #ZimbabweanLivesMatter in the midst of a life changing pandemic.

Flag
Zimbabweans and fellow sympathisers from different organisations worldwide are taking their cries to Zimbabwean embassies in their own Country’s; of human rights refuge, hoping that one day they will be heard, their lives are spared and they do not die by the hands of Mnangagwa pawns. All the impoverished and silenced citizens wait in the hope of international intervention wishing that the images that are inundating all media platforms will speak of the truth that the junta is trying to conceal. Opposition is still imminent in the forms of those “enforcing the law” in the incident of the police firing rubber bullets at the Zimbabwe Lives Matter and Not In My Name protestors in Pretoria who were speaking out for the lives and futures that are being destroyed by the tyrannical administration that is Zanu-PF.

How many more heart-breaking images of women, children and the elderly being beaten and killed for wanting basic rights, do they need their eyes to behold for them to stand with the people rather than fire at the people? How much more blood needs to be shed before a country can be completely free? A Zimbabwean flag without the red and yellow stripes representative of blood shed in liberation and the citizens not enjoying the looted riches is the clearest illustration of the plight of the country which is no longer free! The people need change and freedom!

EVENT CANCELED : Muzvare Rosemary Mupunga Rallies the Members and adds more pressure on E.D. and ZANU P.F.

Muzvare Rose Mupunga
The peacefull planned protest pencilled in for Friday the 14th of August 2020, at the Zimbabwe Embassy, at 429 The Strand London has been cancled.  With the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and the threat of infection and loss of life especialy for those more mature than than the some, there has been a clarion call from Zimbabwe Human Rights Organisation (ZHRO) Elders to get active in a new and different way, especialy if one can not travel.  Muzvare Rose Mupunga from ZHRO made an empassioned plea to ZHRO members to stand up and be counted, to protest in solidarity with those stuck in Zimbabwe, to fight Klepotocracy and the derth of Human Rights.

In light of the recent events in Zimbabwe, where those such as Hopewell Chin'ono, the MDC 3, Job Wiwa Sikala, Fadzai Mahere and others who protest against the Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) Junta govenment led by E. D. Mnangagwa, are being labeled as terorists, it seems the grass roots are shouting even louder in the face of oppression.

Unfortunately, it seems the nature of E.D. Mnangagwa is to use brute force against an unarmed, educated and enlightened Zimbabwean people, who now want the regime out, before more inocent lives are lost to their kleptocracit ruining plunder and brutal inhuman rule of the New Deception.

In the empassioned speech, she gave a clear example of ZHRO Chair Lady Chipo Parirenyatwa, who took it upon herself to protest for the lives of the Zimbabwean, weeks before the Hashtag #ZimbabweanLivesMatter started trending.

There is absolutely no doubt that the people of Zimbabwe are upset with the rot that has set into the Mnangagwa regime.  The Mnangagwa regime is now trying to stop a stunami.  With that, it likely is best for the international comunity to get involved before the people take things into their own hands out of desperation, in the face of an out of touch Ruling Elite.

The next Wednesday Vigil protest will be announced on ZHRO official platforms.  ZHRO would like to encourage all its members to keep in touch through social media.

On the 31st of July 2020, Zimbabwe Human Rights Organisation (ZHRO) members, joined others from the persecuted MDC Alliance, ZANU PF converts and other civic organisations to publicly tell Mnangagwa and ZANU PF its time to go.  The peacefull planned protest was held at the Zimbabwe Ebassy, at 429 The Strand London, near the Charing Cross tube and main line train station.

The protest was initially called for by the masses.  The setting up on the day of the banners was by Vuka Zimbabwe and ZHRO, with the latter also setting up a water and drinks stall.  The arrest of Hopewell Chin'ono, Jacob Ngarivume, The torture of the MDC 3 young ladies, the arrest of MDC femail spokes person, Fadazi Mahere and the continued persecution of all those calling for an end to corruptoin has led to the enragement of the masses, both in Zimbabwe and in the diasora.

Tapiwa Muskwe (ZHRO member) who is usually reserved, could not help himself, when he join the clarion call and added his voice to the proceedings by publicly telling Zimbabwes Kloptocrats to go.  Unfortunately Tapiwa Muskwe would not take a follow up question, so the interview was extreemly short.
